7th CiiEM International Congress 2025
The 7th edition of the CiiEM International Congress took place from 2 to 4 July 2025 at the Egas Moniz campus, under the theme “Empowering One Health to Reduce Social Vulnerabilities.”
Chaired by Professors Cristina Soeiro, PhD, and João Vaz, PhD, the congress brought together a distinguished group of researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and students from diverse fields. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in thought-provoking sessions, presented innovative research, and contributed to meaningful discussions aimed at strengthening the One Health approach in addressing global and local social vulnerabilities.
The scientific programme included keynote lectures, thematic panels, and multidisciplinary presentations that reflected the Congress’s commitment to fostering excellence, collaboration, and knowledge translation across the health and social sciences.
