André Mariz de Almeida Elected President of SPDOF

André Mariz de Almeida has recently been elected as the President of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Disfunção Temporomandibular e Dor Orofacial (SPDOF). His appointment marks a renewed commitment from the society to advance the study and scientific research in Temporomandibular Dysfunction (TMD) and Orofacial Pain (OFP).

Under his leadership, SPDOF aims to foster, promote, support, and collaborate on research in TMD and OFP through the multidisciplinary cooperation of healthcare professionals from diverse fields. This collaborative approach seeks to enhance the quality of care provided to the Portuguese population, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions.
