Cátia Caneiras @ 83.º Congresso Mundial da Federação Internacional Farmacêutica (FIP)

Cátia Caneiras an integrated member of CiiEM, participated in the 83rd FIP World Congress, held September 7-11th 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

As a plenary speaker in collaboration with the World Health Organization, she contributed to the session “Acting together for One Health: Strengthening global collaboration to combat AMR,” addressing global health policies on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

She also chaired the session “Emerging challenges in antimicrobial resistance and the role of pharmacists in vaccination and resistance to antifungals,” highlighting pharmacists’ role in tackling AMR challenges
