CiiEM @ Feira Nacional de Agriculura 2025 – InsectERA

CiiEM participated in Feira Nacional de Agricultura (FNA) in Santarém, Portugal, through the InsectERA project, which promotes insects as bioindustrial tools for sustainability.

Activities included the roundtable “Small Insects, Big Impacts” on June 9th and the 2nd InsectERA Congress on June 11th at CNEMA, focused on insect-based biosolutions.

Elisabete Matos, an integrated member of CiiEM moderated the panel “Insect Derived Products | A One Health Perspective,” and Daniel Murta, an integrated member of CiiEM, opened the Congress as InsectERA Executive Committee Chair

The event also featured a CiiEM stand on sustainable food and health.
