Mara Guerreiro, head of the Digital Health and Education Research Group, participated as a speaker at the 2nd Azores Nursing Congress, hheld in Ponta Delgada, Portugal on May 9th, 2025,

As part of the panel “Health/Disease Management: Models and Tools”, she presented “Caring with Digital Technology: Interventions, Challenges, and New Pathways”, discussing examples of digital technology in nursing, barriers to implementation, and future directions. The panel offered insights into how digital tools are reshaping models of care in nursing.
