The meetings are oriented to stimulate the discussion of the scientific and technological activity of the new researchers hired under the Program of Encouragement to Scientific Employment. It is a strategy for the next decade, with a special impact on the implementation of the United Nations Agenda 2030, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives (ODS). This initiative also complements a series of public sessions on national participation in the 9th European Framework Program for Research and Innovation, 2021-2027, Horizon Europe.

The meetings represent a continuous effort of researchers and professors to reinforce the dialogue between the scientific and academic communities and the Portuguese society, through a continuous and systematic process to stimulate the production and the diffusion of the knowledge in close relation with the great social challenges and with the development of Portugal in the global context.

The meetings will take place in Lisbon and Porto.
