Newsletter on the Violence against Women and Domestic Violence Project (VMVD)

We announce the first newsletter of the Project Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (VMVD) in Times of Pandemic: characterization, challenges and opportunities in distance support (AaD).

This newsletter represents the first scientific research project developed by APAV, financed by FCT (Line Gender Research 4 COVID-19) and has a partnership with Egas Moniz - Higher Education Cooperative (LABPsi) and the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP).

Through this and the next newsletters, we will learn about the results of the study and the applications that result in the preparation of the Victim Support Technicians in terms of intervention with victims of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (VMVD).

This project has a multidisciplinary team focused on characterizing the phenomenon of VMVD in a pandemic time, as well as exploring the use of distance support tools.
