Transnational Cooperation

The FCT and the Coordination Foundation for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) announce that an application is open until November 6, 2018, to support 10 joint projects to be held in the 2019/2020 biennium.

The support is provided for the exchange of researchers in the framework of joint research projects in the following areas:

• Environmental Sciences
• Space Sciences
• Marine Sciences
• Electrical Engineering
• Literary Studies
• History

The FCT funding (€ 4500 / year) per project is intended for the mobility of researchers. The non-inclusion of young researchers in the Portuguese team is eliminatory and priority will be given to new projects and teams that have not obtained funding in recent competitions.
